Hello everyone,
In the last 200 miles or so the oil pressure in my TR6 has dropped by 20
pounds or so. In the past the pressure was around 75lbs when the engine was
warmed up and running above 3000 rpm. It has recently dropped to about 55
pounds when hot and at 3000+ rpm.
The pressure at idle has not changed with the gauge reading about 40lbs when
hot.
Does anyone have any ideas what this might be? Could it be that I dropped
the thrust washer? Bad car karma? Maybe it's the ghost of the Miata I sold
last week returning to haunt me with reliability worries?
