All, Mea culpa, mea culpa! In an earlier note, I erroneously suggested that valve-guide wear was a possible cause of low oil pressure. Thanks to Jim Davis and Dick Taylor for pointing out to this neophyte that crow tastes better with salt :-) I had read somewhere that something in the top-end can cause low pressure, but had forgotten what, and guessed (incorrectly).
