John, I can't imagine getting those bushes in from the interior. Here is what worked for me, heat the bushes in a dish of water in the microwave a couple of minutes each. I put some grease in the hole and then using needle nose pliers placed the bottom of the bush in the hole, holding the top part of the bush with the pliers forced until it sat nicely in the hole, the second one goes allot easier, did I mention I did this from the engine side.
