If it ain't broke...
If your car runs fine, there is no need to take the head off.
What is the worst thing that can happen? The valves and
seats and guides go bad and you have to replace them
in a few years? Save your money and drive your car!
You can prevent valve damage by making sure that
valve lash is set to .010" and making sure the engine
doesn't run too lean. I suspect a lean mixture is the
cause for valve damage in more cases than unleaded fuel.
