Carl,
Run a jumper wire between the two red wires attached to the rheostat. If your
gauge lights come back on, you've got a bad rheostat. Hopefully that's all it
turns out to be.

Subject: reostrat problems?
Hi...
My interior lights/instrument lights aren't working and I believe it it
might be the reostat that is not functioning....
Is there a good way to test it?
Thanks....
