I'll only need it in colder weather. Now...to see if the car's still

All TR6s were made as convertibles, a removable hardtop was an option.
The hardtop bolts to the car with special hardware, the softop can be
left in the car (folded down) or removed when the hardtop is installed.
TR6 factory hardtops look very nice (in my opinion). There are also
aftermarket hardtops available (made of fiberglass rather than the
factory steel ones) which are different in style and don't look as good
(again, in my opinion). You should ask the owner if the hardtop is
factory or aftermarket, and check out pictures of factory hardtops so
that you know what one should look like. A FACTORY hardtop ups the
value of the car a bit I think. Aftermarket hardtops don't affect
value.
