Bernard---The high vacuum on US cars is more from the short overlap cam design than the F.I. When I was running an S2 cam with the ZS carbs it only idled at 14 inches. It went like stink, once over 3000 rpm. By then, everyone had left! (It needed the rest of the goodies to compliment the cam.) Dick T. |
