Mitch,
I purchased and installed the Autopower roll bar from Moss for "street" use.
1. I am tall and the seat is all the way back. I don't think it was
restricted.
2. I can't hear the wind over the Monza exhaust.
3. I haven't bumped my head. I would consider padding. I did notice some
noise from the top frame hitting the bar.
4. The only alteration was for the bolt holes.I found the installation
generally easy; however, I did need a helper placing and holding the nuts.
5. The only other design which I have seen commercially is the "racing"
installation which includes an additional support bar running from the main
bar to the front passenger side floor.
I installed the roll bar because too many people described horror stories to
my wife. I have felt more comfortable with it; although, I don't know how
much it would help in a serious crash. I feel more anxious about 18 wheelers
who may not see me than I am concerned about a rollover.
Good driving.

Subject: Roll bar questions
Hi all,
Well it's the time of year when some one has to ask about the pro's & con's
of roll bars. I need to know if,
1) Do they restrict seat movement
2) Is there added wind noise
3) Am I going to have lumps on my head after a bumpy road
4) How much has to be altered to install
5) Is there more than one design
This is only for cosmetic reasons, I really like the way it looks. Any
added
safety I get from it will be a plus.
Thanks,
Mitch 74 1/2 TR6
