Have the facia painted by a pro. Don't skimp here. He'll mask-off perfectly
the outline. Use Matte Black paint, not flat. Mine was done this way 7
years ago and still looks fresh. Money well spent.
My TR6 is FAR from perfect, but still looks better than ANY TR6 without a
black rear facia. This is a feature that helps define the look and style of
these cars. There are a lot of body seams on the rear facia, and the black
matte finish hides these flaws. In addition, the tail lights have more
definition and the horizontal "flat" lines of the rear-end are more
pronounced with the matte black rear facia.
Finally, it is a fact that these cars look better with the rear-end painted
black. Period.
