Hello all,
I wanted to take a moment to promote the 6-PACK club here on the list.
After all, this list was created for it's members. Many of you are not
members of the club. We are glad you are apart of this great resource (the
TR6 e-mail list).
Our club has many benefits.... here are a few:
Free Classified Ads - If you are buying or selling TR6/TR250 related items,
you can place as many ads as you like for free. These Ads will be placed in
our Quarterly Magazine sent out to it's members.
Cool Regalia - The club has partnered with Triple C to produce fine quality
TR6 regalia..... shirts, hats, mugs etc.. available only to club members.
Surrogate Network - Interested in buying a TR250 or TR6 but it is located in
a different state? The club has a formal network of individuals who own
TR6's and 250's. They volunteer their time to go and look over cars for
those who are far away from their prospective buy. They will give you an
honest opinion of the condition of the car.
National Car Show - The 6-PACK Trials are held each fall in various parts of
the United States. Meeting other TR250 and TR6 enthusiasts, tech sessions,
fun activities, and a club banquet are some of the exciting activities that
take place each year. This years event will take place near Chicago, IL.
Quarterly Club Magazine - Each quarter our membership receives a fine
quality Magazine that contains stories about other club members cars,
Technical articles, classified ads, pictures & stories of restoration
projects, club activities and more. This
publication alone is worth the 20 dollars annual dues!
E-Mail List - The list has provided almost immediate support for the weekend
warrior who has taken on a job that has gotten to big. The list has grown
from less than 10 people to almost 400 subscribers. This is an open list
available to members and non-members of the 6-PACK club.
Technical Support Archives - The e-mail list feeds the technical support
archives. There are thousands of e-mails that cover virtually every topic
about the TR6/250 automobile. The archives can be found at
www.listquest.com. You will find them listed under automotive / British
Cars and you will find the "TR6" link. The Archives are currently open to
the public, but we are considering making them only accessible to club
members.
Website - Our club website is growing. It currently has club information
including history, surrogate network, club officer contact names and links
to other related sites on the web.
If you are a member of the club, encourage your friends (both local and
internet) to join the 6-PACK. If you are not a member, the e-mail list is
only a part of the total club experience. Go to the 6-PACK website at
http://members.xoom.com/6Pack/ to learn how to join.
Thanks,
Mike Brinker
6-PACK List Coordinator
