Craig,
I bought mine from TRF and it came with rubber pads that fit between
the rack feet and the trunk lid. I used stainless machine screws and
nuts in place of the chrome sheet metal screws that were provided. I
also used rubber "o" rings on the screws to help seal out moisture.
I like the aluminum racks that dealers installed on the later cars
better, but couldn't properly clean the ones that came with my cars or
find a NOS rack.
