Jim---Many of the TR6 owners now use a 205X70 size. It's comparable to the original rolling radius of the 185X78 that came with these cars when new. Pick any tread pattern on a major brand, that you like. I'd stay with an H-rated tire, for it's heat resistance and grip, and good for130 mph. Yokohama, Pirelli, and BFGoodrich tires can be had for between $75--$100 a corner. The 205mm width will give a wider footprint than your current 185's, by about 3/4". Dick T '73 |
